After his untimely Death Edward Beck discovers that for him there is no Heaven or Hell but a third option of new employment as he has been chosen to become a Boatman to ferry the souls of the recently deceased to ‘The Station’ where his ‘Passengers’ will take their final journey.

A Boatman cannot be seen in the Realm of the living, they must not ever interfere or return to their old life, but if you had left a Widow and Daughter behind what would you do?

Edward will help his passengers and also cross paths with the calculating, twisted serial killer ‘Red Masque’ and watch helplessly as he murders his victims.

Edward accidentally discovers as he transports his passengers that he has a ‘gift’ for influencing the living, a gift that he uses to firstly help his daughter ditch her loser boyfriend and then to help a Detective catch the ‘Red Masque’ however Edward makes a dreadful mistake and accidentally puts his wife and daughter firmly in the sights of the Serial Killer.
